REOPENING OF FULL-TIME SCHOOLS

MAC is pleased to announce the safe reopening of MAC schools for the 2020-2021 school year. Over the past few months, we have worked with various health authorities to devise a framework that provides excellent instructional delivery in a safe and healthy school environment for students, teachers and staff while safeguarding the broader communities in which they live.

We are proud of how our schools responded to the COVID-19 pandemic as it took hold in March 2019. We were able to mobilize resources and deliver excellent online educational programs. We are building on the success of this experience and infusing the learning we acquired to fine tune what we will be offering in our 2020/21 school year. We have worked hard this summer to design our school program delivery to provide maximum flexibility to parents in choosing in-class or synchronous online options. These options were developed with extensive consultation with parents. Our school leadership teams communicated these plans to parents and we will continue to engage our school communities to ensure a successful school year.

Our part-time and weekend schools will be virtual this year. To ensure a high-quality educational program delivery, we are providing a unique Arabic language program via an online platform that was exclusively built for this purpose.

We are looking forward to a new school experience and pray for the safety of our student, staff and community.

Mac condemns the Islamophobic racist attack against Minister @OmarAlghabra. Islamophobic rhetoric should not be tolerated from anyone. We call on political leaders across party lines to condemn this slander.
