New Board of Directors and President for MAC

In accordance with the bylaws of the Association, elections for the National Convention were conducted across the Chapters of the Association in the months of December 2020-January 2011. The 9th Annual National Convention was held in Toronto on the 5th and 6th of February 2011.

Elections for a new Board of Directors (BOD) were held as 2011 marked the end of the term for the incumbent Board. The Board of Directors of the Association is elected for a 4 year term.

The current BOD is comprised of the following individuals:

Mr. Adeeb Fadel
Dr. Dalia Abdellatif
Mr. Khaled Sultan
Mr. Mourad Mhiri
Mr. Nezar Eldib
Ms. Rania Lawendy
Dr. Wael Haddara
Dr. Yasser Mohammad

In accordance with the bylaws of the Association, the first BOD meeting was chaired by the eldest Director, Dr. Abdussalam Nakua and Dr. Wael Haddara was elected as the Chair/President of the Association effective February 19, 2011.

Mr. Sharaf Sharafeldin will continue with the Association in the capacity of Executive Director, after having served as Chair/President of the association for the maximum of two terms, in accordance with our bylaws.
