A Statement by the Muslim Association of Canada

Mississauga – January 28, 2015 - The Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) is a religious, educational, social, charitable and non-profit organization that operates only in Canada.  Our organization has worked to strengthen the communities we live and work in since 1997.

A primary tenet of MAC is community involvement and service not only with the Muslim community, but with every community, regardless of faith or background.

MAC is a wholly Canadian organization.  We are opposed to violence of all kinds.  We are opposed to terrorist activity of any kind, especially any threats against the safety and security of fellow Canadians.

What's New

A Statement by the Muslim Association of Canada.

After a year of hard word, MAC has launched our new Web Portal on Jan 1st 2013 alhamdulilah. This project has been affectionately code named "Project Relate", because the goal is to fundamentally enhance the way we relate to all our core constituents: Canadians at Large, Canadian Muslims, and MAC Members across this nation.

Take a look through the site and share your feedback with us!
We would like to announce that Dr. El-Tantawy Attia, Executive Director of MAC's Masjid Toronto, and Remy Boulbol, Executive Director of MAC's RCIC in Windsor, have been awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal by the Governor General of Canada. The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal is a tangible way for Canada to honour significant contributions and achievements by Canadians. Dr. El-Tantawy was honoured for his years of service to the Muslim Community and establishment of several Islamic Centers and Schools. Remy Boulbol was honoured for her contribution to Windsor, the Muslim community, and children.
